BURBANK, CA (April 7, 2016) – Get ready for a jam session with everyone’s favorite furry monsters as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Sesame Workshop, the non-profit, educational organization whose mission is to help kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder, release Sesame Street: Sing It, Elmo! on DVD and digital on May 3, 2016. Over two hours of fun, this musical compilation also includes the bonus music video “Elmo’s Got the Moves!” Sesame Street: Sing It, Elmo! will be priced to own for $14.98 SRP and is on sale right now! In Sesame Street: Sing it, Elmo! Elmo and Rosita have planned a play date, but they keep missing each other! Children join Elmo and Rosita as they search the neighborhood for each other, singing along the way. Through songs, kids can appreciate music, learn about friendship, and even practice math skills such as number recognition and counting. Preschoolers will love singing and dancing along with Elmo, Zoe, Grover and Rosita and their new band, “The Cute and Furry Four.” But, when everyone needs to go home except Elmo, what will happen to the band? This special is one you won’t want to miss!
“Warner Brothers is thrilled to release Sesame Street: Sing it, Elmo! on DVD and digital for families to enjoy together” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Vice President, Family & Animation Marketing.”Sesame Street, Elmo and the entire gang are still the #1 top-of-mind pre-school show with moms and this special is sure to delight. Sesame Street fans will be thrilled for the chance to sing along with Elmo over and over again.”
Now in its 46th season, Sesame Street continues to have the highest “co-viewing” experience – meaning adults watching with kids – of any preschool show. The series has received more Emmy awards than any other show in television history, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Emmy Award honoring the 40th year.
Thoughts About Sing It, Elmo!
With over two hours of musical fun my granddaughter was in Elmo heaven. She loves her cute furry red friend, Elmo! As she watched and sang along with this DVD she was also learning about math, friends, and music. After all, it is from one of the best sources of educational entertainment. The music and choreography is everything that had expected it to be. If you have a little one that is a fan of Elmo and the many Sesame Street characters that make appearances in this DVD this is a must have for your collection. I sent my copy home with her so that she can continue to watch and enjoy it often.
