Easy-To-Make Rainbow Cake
INGREDIENTS:
• One boxed white cake mix plus eggs, water, and oil to make it according to the box.
• Icing colors in Purple, Blue, Green, Red, Orange, and Yellow.
DIRECTIONS:
• Preheat oven to 350°F degrees.
• Make cake mix according to box
• Grease a 10-inch springform pan or 2- 9 inch cake pans. Place a circle of parchment paper in the bottom of your pan/pans.
• Evenly divide batter into 6 bowls (about 1 cup of batter in each)
• Tint each bowl of batter a different color using gel colors.
• Pour 1 of the colored batters in the center of the springform pan. Next, pour the second color into the center of the first color. Continue doing this with each color. As you pour the next color it will push the previous color out toward the side of the pan.
• If you are using 2 pans, pour 1/2 of each color into each pan.
• Bake at 350 according to package directions.
• Remove from oven and cool for 15 minutes. Turn out onto a wire cake rack to finish cooling.
