I love Fall and always have. It is my favorite time of year. When I think of Fall it’s corn mazes, changing leaves, and pumpkin pie that first come to mind. While I wouldn’t want a coffee that tasted like corn stalks or an oak leaf, one that captured the essence of pumpkin pie would be divine. After first trying Brooklyn Bean Roastery’s Pink Pumpkin three years ago, I have kept a little stash of it hidden so that I could enjoy it all year. I had found some Pink Pumpkin that I had stashed a few weeks ago and had a cup. Now I was down to just two!
With only two k-cups of this yummy coffee left in my stash, I had intended on saving them for the first cold day of the Fall season. Not able to wait any longer, I don’t think it will ever get cool here in South Carolina, I had one of my Pink Pumpkin’s that I had stashed last Sunday. It was, after all, October 1st and the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I brewed up a cup of this delicious coffee and sat down to check my email and share my posts that I had scheduled for the day.
While I waited for Marc to get I up, I had time to really enjoy the quiet of the morning and my cup of coffee. It truly is the perfect blend of coffee, pumpkin, and vanilla. The taste of Fall is what I found in my cup! This well-balanced coffee had a mild pumpkin flavor with a hint of vanilla. I found the overall taste to be mellow and smooth. I look forward to a season with fragrant spices filling the air as my favorite recipes flavored with pumpkin and vanilla are prepared and now I have this delicious coffee look forward to enjoying, too!
Pink Pumpkin Coffee sounds quite interesting, I love the tie to Breast Cancer Awareness. Such an important thing that everyone needs to be aware of and cautious of.
