Driftwood stands resolute against the tide at sunset. Taken on a remote beach on the Caribbean island of Nevis. – KATHERINE GENDREAU
Wanting a serene and relaxing canvas for our bedroom we recently ordered Katherine Gendreau’s archival photograph, Driftwood Sunset image. Our love of the ocean made this the perfect addition to our bedroom to help us relax and forget the day’s stresses. The canvas we selected has a stunning sunset, in all its vivid colors, that Katherine Gendreau captured at dusk. Beautiful driftwood that has washed ashore. Nature’s brilliance on display in the dimensions and edge I wanted.
What could be more relaxing than a gorgeous sunset filled with hues of pinks, greens, and blues? Photowall offers this and many other prints on canvas and as wall murals. Prints can be ordered with or without a do-it-yourself-frame. Assembling the DIY frame was surprisingly easy to do thanks to a well thought out design by Photowall.
Getting to Know the Driftwood Sunset Photographer:
Katherine Gendreau first became interested in photography when she moved to Rhode Island in 2006. She would bike along the ocean every day around sunset when the light was golden and beautiful. Since then, Katherine’s work has taken her to many places where she tries to capture the sense of wonder that she feels when discovering a location for the first time. Utilizing long exposures ranging from one second to eight minutes, she attempts to record the accumulation of time in a single image. Dreamy and otherworldly, Katherine’s photographs unveil a secret world that is always there but the eye cannot see. |
