HOW THEY GOT STARTED
Bryan and Susan were wed in the summer of 1998 and moved to 1 Jade lane, upstate New York. Their passion for paper, cards, and stationary started as a hobby that they enjoyed. At first, they made cards and letters for family and friends. As their popularity grew among family, word of the beautiful cards spread. With more and more requests, they began seeing a real opportunity to turn a fun hobby into something more.
Soon, they decided to dedicate their time to create beautiful cards that everyone would enjoy. Their relaxing upstate life became rather busy as we began designing cards and stationery. Before long, One Jade Lane became a business! They produce a large variety of designer stationery for all seasons and events.

We ordered the Nutcracker set of cards to give out to some special recipients on our holiday card list. When they arrived Marc and I were both impressed with the quality of the print and card stock used. After admiring the beautiful image on the front of the card we took a peek inside. Here the card stock has a matte finish so whatever you choose to write with it will be easy. The verse inside “Wishing you the gifts of the season – Peace, Joy, Hope” is crisp, clear, and aligned perfectly. Even the envelopes are top quality. This small company made sure that every aspect of these cards was well designed and that the best materials were sourced for them.

When I take the time out to buy a card, it means that I want to convey a special message or emotion. So I want the card to be special too!! I have kept a lot of my cards over the years. They have all touched my heart one way or another! I usually write the whole date or at least the year on the corner of the card. That way it’ll rattle the couple of brain cells I have left to remind me what the card was for.
