The ‘sticker shock’ of the new LEDs is often a deterrent to using LED bulbs by many consumers. However, I must say that as we have replaced the old incandescent bulbs with LED light bulbs in three homes, a few at a time, that I am beginning to actually see the benefits of these bulbs first hand.

Because LEDs are extremely energy efficient and use only a fraction of the energy of an incandescent light bulb, there is a dramatic decrease in power costs. Also, money and energy are saved in maintenance and replacement costs due to the long LED lifespan. Plus in addition to the savings, I have found that the light emitted from these omnidirectional LED bulbs is crisper and easier on the eyes, especially when reading. I must say that I was a bit surprised by the weight of each SANSI LED Light bulb. These little bulbs are quiet heavy for their size due to their ceramic bases and glass covers. Switching from our old bulbs to these has been an easy process since they just screw into any standard light socket. We are very pleased that we have made the change for savings it brings us and benefits doing so does for our environment.
