Ingredients
1 Package Frozen Brussels sprouts
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper (to taste)
1/3 cup Balsamic Vinegar
Directions
On The Stove:
- Drizzle a small amount of Olive Oil in a pan and place the Brussels sprouts in it.
- Add half the balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper, toss to coat evenly.
- Saute until vinegar becomes thick.
If you do not want to brown them in the oven: drizzle immediately with the remaining balsamic vinegar, and toss again. Taste for seasonings, and serve hot.
In The Oven:
I like the browning that the broiler offers so I preheat my oven while my brussels sprouts are on the stove. After step 3 I transfer the sprouts to baking sheet and broil the brussels sprouts for just a few minutes, until they’re nicely browned.
Remove from the oven, drizzle immediately with the remaining balsamic vinegar, and toss again. Taste for seasonings, and serve hot.
My baking mats set arrived in just a few days and included one 16 1/2″ x 11 1/2″ mat and two small 11 1/2″ x 8 1/4″ mats. When I received my set I was thrilled to see that not only would the larger one fit my large cookie sheet but the smaller ones would fit the baking sheet and cake pan (that fit in a toaster oven) and I use for my everyday cooking.
Mom did some cookies on the larger mat and nothing stuck. I put brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar under the broiler on one of the smaller mats and clean up of the syrupy balsamic was a snap! I love my new mats and would highly recommenced them to anyone looking for a way to cook without all the oils and clean up.
This sounds like a delicious way to eat Brussel sprouts! I have never made them myself before and haven’t had them in years, but I am definitely going to try this! Thank you so much for sharing!
Our family loves Brussels sprouts! Even when not hidden in bacon! I will try this recipe for them,.
