About Paula

The children are all grown and have started giving us grandchildren that we can dote on. For years it was just the three of us at home – my sweetheart, our spoiled cat, and me. However, we recently adopted a bobtail kitten. So the four of us are living in chaos. Who knew such a tiny creature could disrupt an entire household! ? Over five years ago, while I was looking for freebies and sweeps to do, I decided to start blogging about the great ones I found. When the opportunity presented itself, I began writing reviews. I found I truly enjoyed writing these posts and have dedicated a large amount of time to them.

My favorite thing is watching the kids open their gifts, and the huge smiles they have. I love everyone being together, which is hard for the whole family.

The best holiday gift we ever got was a present from our son & daughter in law. It was a baby onesie that said Merry Christmas Gma & Gpa…see you in August and a picture of the sonogram! PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite holiday show is 100% Holiday Baking Championship on Food Network! I love seeing all the different cookies, pies, cakes, and sweets that these bakers make! They’re always so beautiful and festive, too! And how can you not love those judges!

My favorite thing about the holidays is spending time with my family. We don’t get to see each other as much as I’d like to.
    Thank you!

My favorite thing about the holidays is seeing all the giving and goodwill that comes from people, when people forget about themselves and do for others.

What a question hahaha. I think my favorite thing about the holidays is the joy that comes about everyone during the season. Even though it may be so cold that it hurts your face or your feet are 5+ inches in the snow, people just have a different outlook I think and are excited to celebrate the months! – or maybe just me hahah! Seeing family is definitely tied for first. But second is 100% food!!!
