In partnership with the Elizabeth Smart Foundation, Jane is committed to provide opportunities for survivors at Raksha to heal, move on, and thrive. There are several ways you can get involved and make a difference. I’d like to take a moment to tell you about two of them.

1. THUMBPRINT NECKLACE
Help donate to Raksha’s shelter by buying one of these unique necklaces. 100% of proceeds go to Raksha children’s shelter.

Each necklace is stamped with the fingerprint of a child from Raksha, so you can hold their stories close to your heart. You’ll also receive an insert that tells you a little more about each of them. You will receive 1 of 11 necklaces at random. If you purchase multiple, you will receive unique necklaces. There were just 1,727 necklaces when this campaign started June 1st so they will be selling out soon!

When you give one of these necklaces you are giving a gift that gives back because when you purchase one of these Raksha necklaces, 100% of the proceeds help support children in Nepal who are survivors of predatory crimes.

About Raksha Children’s Center

Children taken into Raksha’s care are given a caring family-like environment, psycho-social counseling, nutrition, medical care, tutoring, and reintegration into the public-school system. Thanks to these resources, the children at the shelter have been given a second chance and hope for the future. Many of these children aspire to be nurses or doctors one day, so they can give back and help other survivors of predatory crimes. For more on Raksha, go to jane.com/stronglikeyou

In 2015 a devastating earthquake left Nepal in ruins. As a result of the earthquake, thousands of homes were deemed as no longer livable; among them was one of Nepal’s children’s shelters, Raksha. This shelter has been an advocate, protector, and home for underage victims of predatory crimes, abandonment, and emotional exploitation for over 10 years. Not only does this shelter do incredible good, but without it, these survivors wouldn’t have a safe haven to call home. And now Raksha needs our help to rebuild this center.
