I just got my hands on this DVD and can’t wait to watch it this evening. I will update you with my thoughts tomorrow!
UPDATE TIME!!!!
Marcus was so excited to watch Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold that he grabbed his cartoon buddy (aka our grandson) and they sat down to watch it while my aunt and I were shopping. I must say that they thoroughly enjoyed this seventy minute DVD and I think it will be one of those “play it again and again” DVDs for us and the grandchildren. In addition to the main feature, they both really enjoyed the special features vintage cartoons, “The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair” and “The Caped Crusader Caper,” that this DVD offers. It’s quite touching and surprising that our grandchildren derive as much pleasure from vintage Scooby-Doo and Batman as we did as children. It’s pretty cool watching younger generations become enamored by the great storylines, animation, and entertaining characters that us older folks grew up being entertained by.
Thanks to Warner Bros Home Entertainment, I don’t think we’ve met anyone child or adult that isn’t familiar with classic Scooby-Doo. It’s great that this classic cast of ageless characters lives on and on through generations of happy viewers. This is a well-made cartoon anyone can relate to regardless of age. The visit from Batman and Robin, the boy wonder, surprised and captivated our grandson. He has always loved Batman and Batkid!
