No matter what your field of work is your data is valuable, and you need to protect it. In addition to writing a blog and gaming, we use our laptop for keeping our personal and financial records. When we travel for work we have to take our laptop with us to print work orders, fax authorizations, etc. on site so keeping our data safe has always been a major concern for us. When the GateKeeper arrived, we were both excited about trying it. I followed the Quick Start Guide that came with the device and referred to the User Manual that is provided on the website. After installing the software and plugging in the USB key, I just had to click on the GateKeeper icon in my task menu on my taskbar to set it up. This only took a minute and was very simple to do. After testing how well this device worked, we are pleased with its ease of operation and how dependable it functions. Each time we step away from our laptop, our Gatekeeper locks it and when we return it unlocks it. No need to remember to do secure it nor type our password everytime we do. No wonder this little device is used by so many in law enforcement and the medical field! We love the peace of mind that it offers us and would recommend the GateKeeper to anyone who would like a secure way to protect their valuable information.
