A total solar eclipse is coming to a sky near you!
On August 21, 2017, America will fall under the path of a total solar eclipse and if you are like me you are getting excited as the date approaches. The first point of contact will be at Lincoln Beach, Ore., at 9:05 a.m. PDT. Totality begins there at 10:16 a.m. PDT. Over the next hour and a half, it will cross through 12 states. The total eclipse will end near Charleston, S.C., at 2:48 p.m. EDT. From there, the lunar shadow finally leaves the U.S. at 4:09 p.m. EDT. At any given location, the total eclipse will last for about 2 or 3 minutes. So why all the fuss? It’s cool. It’s spectacular. It goes dark. You can see stars in the middle of the day. It’s exciting!
In addition, to all the celebrations being held in the backyards across the country, a lot of neighborhoods, communities, and venues in the path are going to be having star parties. Even our small one stop light town has something planned. It will be here before you know it, don’t be left in the dark without the proper eyewear to enjoy it. As this is an activity that is better when it is shared, Magsbud is offering 12 pairs solar eclipse glasses for one low price so you can pass them out to your friends and your family. Experience this amazing spectacle along with millions of Americans as they look up at the sun with their special glasses on right along with you!
When our order arrived we opened it up to check out the 12 pair of paper glasses (2 each of the six designs) that we received. These eclipse glasses are tested to make sure they will block the harmful ultra-violet and infrared totally as well as the 99.99% intense visible light, which makes the sun looks like an orange ball of gentle light. Allowing us to safely watch the partial phases of the eclipse.
- HIGH-QUALITY OPTIC THAT YOU CAN TRUST — All their solar eclipse glasses are scientifically tested and certified with CE and ISO to make sure it is totally safe for eyes to view the sun directly. They are made of Black Polymer material and its optical density has arrived at 5, which is perfect for sun viewing and it is comfortable even for the light sensitivity.
- ONE SIZE FITS ALL— This solar eclipse glasses will fit both children and adults very well since the frame is made of cardboard that can be easily bent and adjusted. You can also view the solar eclipse with your prescription glasses on.
These are the second set of viewing glasses that we have received and just like the first set when I put them on and looked directly at a light in the house I saw nothing and I mean NOTHING! Although the cardstock is not quite as thick as the other set we have, I am surprised that at cost of less than a dollar per pair how well they are made and love all the neat graphics that are printed on them. We’ve got our LED Light-Up Foam Sticks, viewing glasses, and a friend with a telescope. Come on Total Eclipse 2017 we’re READY!!!!
As the date approaches these glasses are getting more popular and the demand is going to be tough to keep up with! Sales are increasing day by day, please get your own glasses for the eclipse before they are gone and you miss the first total solar eclipse in 99 years whose path of totality crosses the continental United States from the west coast to the east coast. It is also the first total solar eclipse ever that goes over only U.S. land and no other country.
