No matter what your field of work is your data is valuable, and you need to protect it. In addition to writing a blog and gaming, we use our laptop for keeping our personal and financial records. When we travel for work we have to take our laptop with us to print work orders, fax authorizations, etc. on site so keeping our data safe has always been a major concern for us. When the GateKeeper arrived, we were both excited about trying it. I followed the Quick Start Guide that came with the device and referred to the User Manual that is provided on the website. After installing the software and plugging in the USB key, I just had to click on the GateKeeper icon in my task menu on my taskbar to set it up. This only took a minute and was very simple to do. After testing how well this device worked, we are pleased with its ease of operation and how dependable it functions. Each time we step away from our laptop, our Gatekeeper locks it and when we return it unlocks it. No need to remember to do secure it nor type our password everytime we do. No wonder this little device is used by so many in law enforcement and the medical field! Several weeks ago we received a very entertaining portable karaoke microphone from VERKB, a company that is new to us both. After unboxing this rose gold blinging mic I couldn’t wait to explore and see all it had to offer. I started by reading the instruction manual to learn about setup and operation. It’s amazing to me that all this technology is in one rechargeable and portable microphone since as a kid, I thought that 8 tracks an vinyl were hi-tech. After installing a Micro TF card with my pre-recorded music on it, I powered on the microphone and pushed play. I was immediately greeted with an impressive amount of volume from the small speakers. Loud enough to be heard in a small to medium sized room. Perfect for fun time with several friends. As my MP4 player sat looking enviously at the microphone and its ability to have its users listen, sing, and record I joined my grandchildren in a sing-along. The charge lasted an impressively long time thanks to its 2200 mAh rechargeable power supply.

I almost forgot to mention that this little dynamo can also be paired via Bluetooth to your smartphone using the IOSor Android Button located on the top of the microphone speaker box. Overall, this microphone is pretty well designed and manufactured. The only improvements that I can think of would be a little more descriptive instruction manual and my wish addition would be an LCD screen showing song title and playlist content. You can work this mic like a star. Although mic stand and manager are not included!

My sister purchased her first wireless headset from a major retailer more than five years ago. In the past, I had watched as she was able to do so many things while on the phone without interrupting what she was doing – driving, cooking, typing, even taking a call from work at the ball field. Testing with a call from Mom, I found that phone calls were clear and easy to hear. The quality of the sound from the headset is excellent. A nice feature of this pair is their ability to fold up for storage in your glove box, purse, front shirt pocket, etc. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality wireless headset to communicate and listen to music.
