This release includes all 10 action-packed episodes as the Ninja encounter new enemies, Krux and Acronix.

It is shortly after the Day of the Departed and all has returned to normal in Ninjago. While the Ninjas are back at the museum cleaning up the mess they left behind, Master Wu waits alone at his old monastery. Soon, there is a flash of light and a stranger mysteriously appears who turns out to be an old enemy. Wu and the stranger engage in an epic battle which we soon learn is the finale of a fight that began forty years ago between the Elemental Masters and the Hands of Time.

Who are the Hands of Time? Krux and Acronix, two fallen Elemental Masters who could once control time itself before Wu and Garmadon barely managed to strip them of their time-shifting powers and transfer them into four-time blades! Wu and Garmadon sent the Blades into a temporal vortex and Krux and Acronix followed, leading our heroes to think the threat was over in Season 7 of LEGO NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu.

Master Wu Brings It!
in Season 7 of LEGO NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu

Much to our grandchildren’s euphoria, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided us with a copy of LEGO NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu Season 7. With great anticipation and excitement, we started disc 1, the grandkids’ enthusiasm was palpable as the first episode began. We all spent the afternoon watching the season from beginning to end together. The kids educated us on the great characters names and their special abilities to whoop Lego butt! Personally, I really enjoyed the graphics and subtle humor sprinkled throughout this captivating form of art. The very clear and understandable dialogue of the characters made viewing very enjoyable and was much appreciated.

The strong storyline and the well-executed plot of each episode made for an entertaining afternoon. We all enjoyed the steady pace and vivid imagery that we found consistent throughout. When we asked the opinion of the grandchildren on a scale of 1 to 10 explaining that 1 was poor and 10 was outstanding. They gave it an even 20! Which they explained meant that it was double outstanding. They will be watching these DVDs plus the several other Lego themed DVD’s that we have over and over while they wait on Season 8. We never tire of the great Lego characters and their awesome adventures.

We just finished watching this very entertaining Warner Brothers animated movie. Our grandchildren love cartoons, especially with Lego characters. From the size of the bucket he has, I believe my grandson owns at least a thousand Lego pieces. This with over three hours of quality, crisp animation kept the kids completely engrossed from beginning to end. We have several Lego-themed DVD’s that they watch over and over. Never tiring of the Lego characters and their awesome adventures. Season 6 does not feature any sort of mech, for the Ninja or the villains but relies on a strong storyline to entertain. This well-made cartoon is sure to be one of their all-time favorites, too. LEGO NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu: Skybound is kid tested and grandparent approved for all ages. Lego’s not included!

LEGO® KidsFest announces tour stops for 2016 at new and returning markets

(Hartford, CT) LEGO KidsFest kicks off its eighth year on the road with new tour stops and a return to some popular markets.

New tour stops in 2016 include Charlotte, NC (Feb. 19-21), Harrisburg, PA (April 8-10) and Kansas City, MO (May 13-15).

It’s been three years or more since LEGO KidsFest stopped in Louisville, KY (June 3-5), Milwaukee WI (Oct. 7-9), Houston, TX (Oct. 21-23) and Cleveland, OH (Nov. 4-6).

Covering more than three acres of space, the LEGO KidsFest extravaganza brings all of the hands-on, minds-on fun of LEGO building and experience together in an activity-filled event for all ages and builders of all skills.

“Our 2016 LEGO KidsFest tour is going to delight both new and returning audiences,” said Vince Rubino, Events Manager for LEGO Systems, Inc. “We’ve still got some favorites on the show floor, like the Big Brick Pile, Creation Nation and the Race Ramps. There are also many new and unique activities designed for building, learning and fun.”

Five sessions — all identical and 4½ half hours in length — are held at each tour stop. LEGO KidsFest tickets can be purchased at www.LEGOkidsfest.com. Tickets are $19 for the Friday and Sunday afternoon sessions, and $22 for both sessions on Saturday and the Sunday morning session.

On tour since 2009, previous LEGO KidsFest tour stops have included major cities such as Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Atlanta, San Jose, Cleveland, Richmond, Phoenix, Portland and more.

Our Visit to LegoFest:
We didn’t let the girls know where they were going until the day before and were they ever thrilled. If we had told them sooner they wouldn’t have slept for days anticipating the trip. When we arrived in Charlotte we made the short walk from our parking area to the coliseum and went to pick up our tickets. Even with so many people everything was so organized that everything we did moved smoothly and quickly. There was so much to see and do at this KidsFest that we only managed to go to about half of the activities that were offered. The favorites of everyone were the bridge building activity where one team built a bridge that even with removing 31 Lego bricks it still held one hundred pounds of weight and Creation Nation where each girl built their own creation and had it put on a huge map of the United States. This event is a fabulous way to spend an afternoon with your family and create a wonderful lasting memory for everyone both young and old. I would recommend that if you are in any of the areas that it traveling to take advantage of the opportunity to go.
